1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how VTS Labs LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("VTS," “VTS Labs,” "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit www.vtslabs.com or any of its subdomains or pages (the "Site"), communicate with us (including by phone, email or text), or purchase our website-as-a-service and/or other services offered from time to time (the "Services"). By using the Site or the Services, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Our Terms of Use, available at https://waas.vtslabs.com/terms-and-conditions, govern your use of the Site and the Services. The Terms of Use are incorporated herein by reference.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the websites we build and host for our customers, which are owned and controlled by those customers — see Section 6.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us:
Contact and business information, such as your name, business name, state of organization, title, email address, phone number, and mailing or billing address.
Account and order information, such as your selected service tier, subscription dates, and billing history.
Website materials, such as the text, images, logos, and other content you provide for the website we build for you.
Communications, such as emails, form submissions, notes from phone calls, and other correspondence.
Payment information: Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Your full payment card number goes directly to Stripe; we do not receive or store it. We receive limited payment information such as your name, card brand and last four digits, and transaction amounts and status. Stripe’s handling of your information is described in Stripe’s own privacy policy.
Information collected automatically: When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, pages viewed, links clicked, referring URLs, and date/time stamps, using cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).
Information from other sources: We may receive business contact information from publicly available sources, marketing and lead providers, business partners, and social media platforms.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
provide, operate, and maintain the Site and the Services, including building, hosting, and maintaining customer websites and configuring domains and DNS;
process payments, manage subscriptions and renewals, and send transactional messages such as order confirmations, billing notices, renewal reminders, and cancellation confirmations;
respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
market our Services, including sending promotional communications and contacting prospective customers, subject to the choices described in Section 7 and applicable law;
analyze and improve the Site and the Services;
create, use, and share de-identified or aggregated data for analytics, improvement of the Site and Services, benchmarking, research, product development, and other legitimate business purposes;
protect the security and integrity of the Site and the Services, and prevent fraud and abuse; and
comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements and terms.
4. How We Share Information
We share personal information with:
Service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting and infrastructure, domain registrars, email and communications tools, and analytics providers, and artificial-intelligence and content-generation tools used to help create and deliver the Services, in each case under obligations appropriate to their role;
Professional advisors, such as lawyers, accountants, and insurers, where reasonably necessary;
Authorities and others for legal and safety reasons, such as to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, property, or safety of VTS, our customers, or others; and
Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, and understand how the Site is used. Our Site is built and hosted on the Framer platform, which may set cookies necessary to deliver, secure, and operate the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect Site functionality.
6. Websites We Build and Host for Customers
Our customers own and control the websites we build and host for them. Those websites are governed by the applicable customer’s own privacy policy and practices, not this Privacy Policy, and we encourage you to review the policy posted on any customer website you visit. Where a customer’s website collects information from its visitors through our hosting infrastructure (for example, through a contact form or an order or checkout page), we may process that information on the customer’s behalf and at its direction as a service provider, and we will direct any requests concerning that information to the customer. Payments made to our customers through their websites are processed by those customers’ own payment processors under the customers’ own agreements with them; we do not receive, hold, or store buyers’ payment card information.
7. Your Marketing Choices
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by emailing support@vtslabs.com. You may ask us not to call you for marketing purposes by telling the caller or emailing support@vtslabs.com, and we will add you to our internal do-not-call list. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send you transactional and account-related messages about Services you have purchased.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, comply with legal and tax obligations, maintain records of consent and transactions, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods depend on the type of information, the purpose of processing, and legal requirements.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Site and Services are intended for businesses and business owners and are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at support@vtslabs.com and we will delete it.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable law with respect to your personal information, such as the right to know or access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a portable copy, or to opt out of certain processing. To submit a request, email support@vtslabs.com with your name, contact information, and the nature of your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law. We will honor requests as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you have a privacy concern or complaint, you may also contact us using the details in Section 15, and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
California "Shine the Light" requests: California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents who have an established business relationship with us to request, once per calendar year, information about any disclosure of personal information to third parties for those third parties' own direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. California residents may submit questions or requests under this law by emailing support@vtslabs.com.
12. Do Not Track and Opt-Out Preference Signals
Our Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
13. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, applications, and services that we do not own or control. These links are provided for convenience only and do not constitute an endorsement. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party website or service before providing it with your personal information.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent version. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law, such as by posting a notice on the Site or emailing you. Your continued use of the Site or Services after the effective date constitutes acknowledgment of the updated policy.
